Enroll Now: CHI Secure Access Two-factor Authentication is Required for Remote Access Soon*
* The two-factor enforcement date, originally set for Friday, June 20, is being postponed; the new enforcement date will be shared as soon as it is available.
CHI is adding an extra layer of security for remote access from your home or other public locations to these applications. Be sure to enroll
before June 20
by clicking on the enrollment link, located on the main application page,
after you finish logging in:
When you enroll, choose the second authentication method that works best for you:
You will receive a phone call; when you answer, press # and hang up (choose this if you access the system from a single location near the same phone or if you always have your cell phone with you).
You will receive a PIN by text; reply to the text message using it (choose this if you always have your cell phone with you).
You will receive a notification message on up to three smart phones and/or tablets; press the Verify button (choose this if you want to download the free app to your Apple or Android device(s) and you will always have one of these devices with you)
If you are not enrolled by June 20, you will not be able to access these applications remotely, you will receive an “Incorrect credentials. Try again” notice. Contact the ITS Service Desk at 866-236-0441 (or 720-875-7500 in Denver) for assistance.
The enrollment link is also available from your facility’s local intranet and for those with access to CHI’s intranet it is at
Inside CHI>National>About CHI>CHI Secure>CHI Secure Access
Do not ask someone to reply to your second factor phone call, text or mobile app for you. For CHI Secure Two-factor Authentication’s extra layer of security to work properly YOU are responsible for verifying your identity yourself.
